Eine Wohnung ganz in Weiß, weil das die neutralste Farbe
für Böden, Wände und Möbel ist – „die ideale Basis für maximale
Freiheit“. Bunt und sehr persönlich werde das Ganze ohnehin durch
die Bewohnerinnen selbst.
Hier ist alles aus einem Guss, durchkomponiert bis ins letzte Detail.
Eine Wohnung als Maßanzug, der sitzt.

“There are two ways how to generate a kind of flatness out of several pieces:
first, take the biggest pieces…than the joint-gap will be the most important part…
second, choose the smallest - a mosaic - and you will receive infinite vitality as well…”

The Light Rehearsal. (1)

As Daniel Kehlmann calls his “first and most impressive theatre experience”,
in which a crystal chandelier coming down and going up again
inside the “vast auditorium” during a lighting test flooding the space with
light and shadow. “No theatre performance ever reached this.“
Similarly I experienced the cinema space and its empty, carefully illuminated,
white canvas, which was released by the opened curtain.

Die Lichtprobe. (2)

So nennt Daniel Kehlmann sein „erstes und größtes Theatererlebnis“,
bei dem ein sich senkender und hebender Kristallluster den „gewaltigen
Zuschauerraum“ während einer Beleuchtungsprobe in Licht und Schatten
tauchte. „Keine Theateraufführung kam je an das heran.“
So ähnlich erging es mir mit dem Kinoraum und der leeren, sorgsam
ausgeleuchteten, weissen Leinwand, die der geöffnete Vorhang freigab.
